Last summer I hung out with a friend of mine who lives in LA. She has gorgeous skin and hair; she’s beautiful, joyful, successful, and healthy. I would probably drink lighter fluid if she told me that it was the secret to her glow.
Lucky for me, lighter fluid was not the secret. Really, there is […]

Snack Review: Bare Fruit Granny Smith Apple Chips
January 25th, 2008 · 7 Comments
I don’t like what many are now calling “health food.” I don’t like pasty, crumbly, sugar-free, fat-free, MUFFIN-free muffins. I don’t like food that is trying to be something it’s not. When it comes to mealtime, you’re not going to find me salivating over a couple sprouts and lettuce, and you certainly won’t find me […]

Snack Review: Glenny’s Low-Fat Soy Crisps
December 16th, 2007 · 2 Comments

I Get Bear Naked At Night
November 8th, 2007 · 1 Comment
One healthy snack I like is the Bear Naked single-serve packs. I buy the 6-pack unit called “Fruit and Nut.” It’s a small box that comes with 6 tiny bags that each contain 1.35oz of granola. I like to eat them as my after-dinner snack sometimes, around 9:00 or 9:30pm.
Here’s what I like about this snack, […]
